GeoSpectrum is seeking a dedicated Test Engineer for Firmware & Systems in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This hands-on role focuses on building effective QA processes to ensure quality integrated systems and enhanced product reliability.
As a Test Engineer, you'll collaborate deeply with firmware and systems engineering teams. You'll be instrumental in defining testing frameworks, methodologies, and automation strategies while also enabling robust integrations with CI/CD workflows. This position allows you to make a significant impact on product quality, directly influencing project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement quality assurance processes
• Design effective test plans and architectures




• Develop automated testing scripts and tools
• Conduct detailed failure analysis and troubleshooting
• Maintain traceability of test coverage to requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field
• At least 5 years of firmware testing experience
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems
• Familiarity with Git and source control
