Avalign is recruiting a committed Occupational Therapist to join a respected community mental health organization. You’ll engage directly with adults facing severe mental health and addiction challenges, developing individualized treatment plans and facilitating group interventions. This integral role will leverage your skills in assessments and crisis intervention while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
• Develop tailored treatment and rehabilitation plans




• Support clients' daily living and community integration
• Recommend adaptive equipment as needed
• Facilitate life skills and recovery-focused interventions
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• 0 to 3 years of experience in mental health or addictions
• Skills in communication and relationship-building
• Knowledge of recovery-oriented practices
• Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence
