Compensation : $21.52 - $24.29 per hour, rate up to $21.97 per visit; mileage $0.45/km plus paid travel time. Retention bonus up to $500.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including skin, hair and oral care, bathing, toileting, and peri-care.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan.
- Provide basic housekeeping tasks and companionship to help patients enjoy a better quality of life.
Qualifications
- Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
- Reliability and flexibility.
- Passion for making a difference in your community.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from patients’ residences within a geographical area.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Screen.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is preferred.
