The YMCA of Greater Toronto is seeking a dedicated educator to foster child development. You'll implement the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum for ages 0-6 and the Place to Connect curriculum for ages 6-12. This position includes rotating weekly shifts and is ideal for those focused on nurturing children's growth and family connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate care and support to children
• Build solid relationships with children and families
• Actively engage in creative play and learning
• Ensure safety and supervision of children consistently
• Maintain compliance with provincial and YMCA guidelines
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Educator Diploma required
• Registration in process with CECE or already registered
• Minimum six months of experience with children
• Valid First Aid and CPR certifications needed
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs)
