Our financial services client is seeking a Risk and Finance Technology Consultant (15+ years) to perform enterprise technology assessments using Capital Markets, Treasury, Risk Management, and Gen AI

Join a high-visibility initiative supporting strategic technology direction across Capital Markets, Treasury, and Risk Management. This role focuses on current state analysis, future state design, gap identification, and technology architecture assessments within a team-oriented Agile environment. The consultant will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to influence enterprise technology roadmaps and modernization decisions. The engagement offers significant exposure across cross-functional teams and emerging technology initiatives including Gen AI.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, 1 day per week onsite, every Thursday

Must Haves

- 15+ years in technology consulting , enterprise technology assessments , and Capital Markets environments
- 10+ years across risk management , treasury , and finance technology




- 5+ years with QRM , WKFS , and Regnology
- Generative AI , technology architecture , and financial services technology applications
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field

Nice to Have

- CIBC or banking industry background
- Related role experience within banking environments

Responsibilities

- Lead enterprise technology assessments across Capital Markets, Treasury, and Risk Management
- Perform current state analysis, future state visioning, and gap analysis
- Review technology architecture approaches and solution applicability
- Evaluate emerging technologies including Gen AI for financial services use cases
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned to business priorities and strategic goals
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, risk visibility, and financial reporting capabilities
