Full Time Registered Nurse
Developmental Services & Complex Care
Mon–Fri, Rotating 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and 12:00–8:00 p.m. | 37.5 hours/week
$38-47/hour
No overnight shifts.

- Build the confidence of direct-care teams through education, mentoring and evidence-based practice. What you will do
- Complete nursing assessments, health-care plans, progress reports, PRN protocols and follow-up documentation.
- Respond to medical concerns and emergencies, provide follow-up care and liaise with hospital and community providers.
- Administer treatments, perform nursing procedures and delegated medical acts within CNO standards and organizational policy.
- Monitor medications, treatments and drug therapy; identify concerns and coordinate recommendations with prescribers and consultants.
- Educate staff and families on conditions such as diabetes and epilepsy, as well as procedures, treatments and safe care techniques.
- Complete regular rounds, coordinate referrals and collaborate with hospital and community partners. What you bring
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Current registration as an RN in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Relevant post-graduate nursing experience supporting people with developmental disabilities, autism, mental-health needs, challenging behaviours and/or dual diagnoses.
- Strong independent assessment, care planning, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence working autonomously and within an interdisciplinary team, with clear communication and strong documentation skills.
- Sound clinical judgement and commitment to CNO standards of practice.
