Join Fraser Health as a Program Coordinator in Indigenous Health, where your focus will be on enhancing health services through team-oriented community engagement and educational initiatives.
In this role, you will work closely with Aboriginal health program managers and community partners to develop and implement services tailored to the needs of Indigenous populations. Your expertise in program planning, education, and evaluation will ensure the effective delivery of vital health services. You will also promote health access by engaging in training sessions and community presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teams to identify Indigenous community health needs
• Develop and implement educational materials and session plans
• Liaise with stakeholders to enhance Indigenous service delivery
• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and progress
• Support annual work planning and budget allocation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Indigenous studies or health sciences
• Three years of experience in program planning/evaluation
• Valid BC Driver's License
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural safety principles
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
