Role Summary

As an Events Coordinator, you will gain hands‑on marketing and events experience designing and producing events and conferences for top global clients such as Rogers, Shopify, Facebook, and Google.

You will provide general support for the events team in the planning, production, and execution phases and strategically manage teams of event staff to deliver on event objectives.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate logistical elements of national and regional events.
- Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing through to production.
- Support internal processes such as purchase orders, payment tracking, and hiring of event candidates.
- Contribute to client meetings by preparing materials and taking notes.
- Update project plans, manage requests, and track progress including budget, timelines, and deliverable status.
- Conduct research on venues, vendors, and promotional items and provide recommendations.
- Assist with on‑site set up and tear down.




- Coaching and providing feedback to brand ambassadors and event staff.
- Build trust and respect within the team.
- Support the management of budgets for projects.

Qualifications

- Unlimited access to a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
- 1–3 years of event‑planning experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
- Robust team‑building and leadership skills.
- Experience as a brand ambassador or onsite event staff is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to support physical event tasks such as setting up promotional material.
