Major Drilling Group International Inc. is seeking Heavy Duty Mechanics for seasonal, full-time positions supporting mining and geological exploration projects across multiple locations in Canada. These roles involve diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment in both surface and underground settings. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, adaptable to remote work environments, and eager to join a global leader in drilling services.

What You’ll Need

- Preferably a current registered driver’s license
- Physically fit with positive dexterity
- Willingness to work outdoors and adapt to a nomadic lifestyle




- Ability to work long hours under varying climatic conditions
- Good communication and mathematical skills
- Mechanical background and aptitude preferred
- Must pass drug and alcohol tests (including random tests)
- Grade 12 education
- Valid First Aid level C
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with underground long hole and exploration drills and mining equipment (preferred)
- Able to work with limited supervision
- Willingness to travel, work long hours, and perform shift work for extended periods (camp setting)
