Join Real Food for Real Kids as an HR Generalist for a maternity leave contract. This role focuses on talent management and employee engagement in a dynamic environment, supporting vital HR functions.
This full time contract in Toronto is for eight months, reporting directly to the Senior HR Manager. You will oversee recruitment processes, assist with training programs, and manage employee relations matters, all while ensuring compliance with employment legislation. An enthusiasm for HR and a good sense of humor will be invaluable in fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead recruitment, screening, and onboarding efforts
• Develop and maintain training programs for employees




• Handle employee relations and conflict resolution
• Oversee HR administration and record-keeping
• Conduct HR compliance and policy enforcement
Requirements:
• 2-3 years’ experience in HR roles
• Minimum 2 years in recruitment
• CHRP designation is a plus
• Experience with HRIS, ideally Dayforce
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
