Senior Manager, Medical Information

Mississauga Flexible Commuter

What you will do

Provides medical information responses for routine inquiries with high quality customer service and documents according to internal guidelines

Identifies and reports adverse events and product complaints within one business day

Processes medical information requests (e.g. fulfillment) via email, fax, and postal mail as per internal guidelines

Provides after‑hours on‑call support as needed via department cell phone, rotating among the team

Supports Medical Information Product Champions with literature searches and complex inquiries

Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures including product knowledge, SOPs, protocols, GCPs, and all applicable regulatory requirements

Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

Must be able to work 9am-5pm Eastern Time

Must be French/English Bilingual

Preferred Qualifications

MSc, PhD, PharmD, MBiotech

Experience in Medical or Drug Information





Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and/or strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail

Ability to balance multiple tasks

Demonstrated time management skills

Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently as needed

Practical experience in patient care

Outstanding computer and keyboarding skills (proficient in Microsoft Office)

Salary The salary for this position in Canada is 80,000 to 110,000 CAD.
