Terus Construction is seeking a Seasonal Loader Operator for our operations in Prince Rupert, BC. This unionized role involves operating heavy equipment safely and effectively to load materials for construction projects.
As a Seasonal Loader Operator, you will join Terus Construction, a long-established leader in road construction and materials manufacturing. Accurate attention to detail and organizational skills are key, as you’ll be responsible for daily equipment maintenance, operating a wash plant, and ensuring a clean workspace. Your ability to collaborate with team members will enhance a positive, safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load materials from stockpiles to trucks
• Safely operate a wash plant and heavy equipment




• Conduct daily maintenance and safety checks
• Perform pre-operational checks and equipment care
• Maintain clean facilities and adhere to safety guidelines
Requirements:
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract
• Experience with routine equipment maintenance
• First Aid and WHMIS certificates are assets
• Ability to lift 50 LBS regularly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
