Campbell’s Concrete Ltd. is a precast concrete manufacturer along with a municipal and industrial waterworks distributor in PEI. We currently require an additional experienced Class 3 Boom Truck Driver to deliver material to all parts of PEI. This is a full time seasonal (May – December) position.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Proven work experience as a Boom Truck Driver
- Valid driver’s license class 3 or 1
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Hydraulic experience
- Able to do physical work
- Need to ensure the highest standards of safety and customer service
- Able to operate a standard transmission
- Ability to work in all types of weather
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Complete paperwork as required related to shipping orders and returns
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent considered an asset
- Communicates as required with dispatch and customers
- Deliver materials safely to jobsites and private homes
- Responsible for safely loading and offloading truck
- Responsible for load securement
- Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and safety
- Work closely with dispatch to resolve any issues
- Report defects, violations, accidents or injuries
