Join Southeast College as an instructor for the Powerline Technician program in Weyburn. Share your expertise in electrical safety and practical training with future technicians.
In this full time role, you will instruct Levels 1 to 4 of the Powerline Technician Apprenticeship Technical Training Program. The ideal candidate should have a Red Seal certification and extensive knowledge in areas like rigging and grounding. You will also be responsible for evaluating student progress, ensuring accurate records, and contributing to curriculum development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Powerline Technician technical training across all levels
• Focus on safety, rigging, and design in lessons
• Maintain detailed evaluations and student records




• Act as a curriculum development expert
• Showcase practical training demonstrations
Requirements:
• Hold an Interprovincial Red Seal in Powerline
• 5-10 years of hands-on technician experience
• Adult education or leadership experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and management systems
• Ability to illustrate mathematical concepts in practice
