This full-time role involves enhancing health through education, advocacy, and community engagement. The Health Promoter collaborates with partners and internal teams to identify health needs, develop grants, and execute programs that empower marginalized communities, particularly within Black populations. Your contributions will directly impact the community's health outcomes by bridging primary care with social initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify health-related needs of community and priority populations
• Develop community partnerships and grant applications
• Facilitate workshops and community initiatives
• Conduct needs assessments and program evaluations
• Advocate for equitable health services and policies
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of health promotion experience
• Solid program development and evaluation skills
• Excellent communication and facilitation abilities
• Knowledge of BIPOC community engagement strategies
