Key Responsibilities

- Assisting the HSE Professional with inspections and incidental investigations
- Assisting with the orientation of new employees
- Developing of training materials
- Reviewing paperwork (ie. PSI, tailgate meetings, safework procedure, trend analysis)
- Monitoring and maintaining the environmental program
- Recognizing and following the company’s and local legislative requirements
- Analyzing site-specific trends and incidents and reporting findings to district
- Gathering/reviewing/distributing safety-related statistical information
- Interpreting, communicating, and reinforcing project safety standards to workforce

Required Qualifications

- Ability to implement HSE program elements and secure operating procedures




- Knowledge of environmental requirements and the ability to implement systems which meet compliance
- Ability to plan and employ preventative measures to reduce the risks of exposure to hazards
- The ability to determine the cause of an incident, and to initiate and implement corrective action to prevent the likelihood of recurrence
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
