At Baycrest Long-Term Care, you will engage with residents to assess their needs and interests, designing activities that foster independence. As part of a dedicated Therapeutic Recreation team, your efforts will bridge various departments, ensuring a holistic approach to care through cutting-edge programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute tailored therapeutic recreation activities
• Document resident participation and feedback
• Attend and contribute to team meetings
• Orient and supervise volunteers in program delivery
• Manage and maintain a supply inventory for programs
Requirements:
• Two-year College Diploma in Recreation or Activation
• At least 1 year of experience in related roles
• Preferred member of Therapeutic Recreation Ontario
• Familiarity with geriatric care and community resources
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
