Responsibilities

- Administer bedside and personal care
- Administer medications
- Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Change non-sterile dressings
- Feed or assist in feeding
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Plan therapeutic diets and menus
- Provide companionship
- Assist in the preparation and administration of examinations

Qualifications

- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset
- Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
- Physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Personal suitability: Punctuality, Dependability, Patience
