The IOFP Intern will gain practical experience in a public agency, supporting diverse functions that impact Indigenous communities. Ideal for current students or recent graduates in Finance, Economics, or Business, this role emphasizes research, evaluation, and documentation of loan guarantees while fostering collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support research on applicants for Provincial guarantees
• Assist in evaluating financial performance for loans
• Document business processes related to loan approvals
• Prepare briefing materials, including reports and presentations
• Track due-diligence costs and guarantee fees
Requirements:
• Current student or recent graduate in a relevant discipline
• Basic understanding of financial concepts and loans
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Robust analytical, written, and verbal skills
• Experience with Indigenous communities is an asset
