Elk Valley Resources (EVR) is hiring a Laboratory Technician to ensure accurate coal testing in our Elk Valley facilities. Join a collaborative team focused on high-quality results and operational efficiency.
In this crucial role, you will report to the Central Lab Lead at EVR. Your responsibilities will include performing coal analysis, maintaining lab procedures, and collaborating with site partners. We're looking for a motivated individual who possesses solid multitasking and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in health and safety programs
• Prepare and analyze coal samples efficiently
• Maintain current coal laboratory procedures
• Calibrate and track lab equipment
• Assist with train reports and maintain assay programs
Requirements:
• Technical diploma or high school diploma with experience
• At least one year of coal analysis experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Operation of ICO-OES is an asset
• Willingness to complete pre-employment checks
