Full time job, 30 to 40 hours per week.

Job details

- Location: North York, ON
- Salary: 20.85 hourly
- Starts as soon as possible
- On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
- Work site environment: Non-smoking, scent free.

Tasks

- Supervise and care for children.
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Bathe, dress and feed children.
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Maintain a secure and healthy environment in the home.
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Prepare children for rest periods.
- Tend to emotional well-being of children.

Work setting:



Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Work in employer’s/client’s home.

Job Requirements

- Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal suitability: Client focus.
- Initiative, reliability, time management, patience, honesty.
