MakerKids is hiring instructors passionate about technology and education for kids aged 6-13. Applicants should have previous experience with children and a solid understanding of text-based coding. The role involves leading engaging, creative classes and adapting lessons to students’ skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct STEM classes focusing on creative exploration
• Guide students through projects in Scratch and Minecraft
• Differentiate lessons for beginners and advanced learners
• Create an inspiring atmosphere for learners
• Share student success and feedback with parents
Requirements:
• Proven experience working with children in tutoring or coaching
• Legally allowed to work in Canada
• CPR Level C certification or willingness to obtain
• Explicit Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector Check
• Driving capability is preferred but not essential
