About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for International Education to serve as a senior executive leader and champion of internationalization. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic vision and institutional leadership in areas such as international student recruitment, global partnerships, and international business development. This role involves cultivating senior-level relationships with various stakeholders, representing the institution in international initiatives, and using data to inform strategic decisions. The AVP will also lead the Office of International Education, overseeing its operations, and ensuring the success and integration of international students.
Candidates for this position must have a master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of nine years' management experience in international education or a related area, including at least three years in an overseas setting. The role requires a proven track record in developing international partnerships, leading diverse teams, and financial management. Experience in the company's priority international markets and with securing grants is an asset. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The position demands a strategic thinker with the ability to translate institutional priorities into practical plans and measurable results, and a leader who can navigate complex issues with sound executive judgment.
