In this individual contributor role, you will shape the data platform architecture while innovating AI infrastructure at Dutch Vet. With over six years of experience, you’ll leverage your skills in managing Snowflake and Python to enhance our clinical data pipelines and runtime systems. You'll mentor engineers to uphold technical standards and drive projects that improve pet health through effective use of data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Co-own the dbt + Snowflake platform with 700+ models
• Isolate data warehouse workloads to ensure system reliability




• Build runtime guardrails for clinical AI applications
• Develop observability pipelines and cost-tracking tools
• Mentor engineers on Python and system design standards
Requirements:
• 6+ years in production data platforms, particularly Snowflake
• Robust Python and software engineering fundamentals
• System architecture and API contracts experience
• Instinct for managing cloud performance and costs
• Ability to foster growth in your team members
