As an Employment and Assistance Worker, you will play a crucial role within the Service Delivery Division, delivering essential income and disability support services. Your experience in fast-paced, client-service environments will be key while you maintain compassion and clarity in difficult conversations. Additionally, you will accurately assess client eligibility for various supports, ensuring effective communication and quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather client information to assess eligibility for services
• Provide income and disability support assistance in-person and virtually
• Manage workloads while meeting performance targets
• Maintain composure during challenging client interactions
• Use various computer applications to document client interactions
Requirements:
• Secondary school graduation or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of client service experience
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience in social services or community roles
• Robust de-escalation and communication skills
