Covenant House is seeking a full-time Youth Worker for its Resident Services Department. This on-site position involves providing vital support to youth through a trauma-informed lens while ensuring their safety and well-being.
In this full time role, you will directly implement Covenant House’s philosophy, assisting youth in meeting their physical and emotional needs. Your responsibilities include daily support, developing individualized plans, and facilitating recreational activities. Being available for a 24/7 operation is essential, as you will guide youth in their progress toward personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and address youth’s needs with a trauma-informed approach
• Develop individual plans with clients and Case Managers




• Facilitate life skills and group activities
• Provide daily support and guidance to youth
• Manage safety and security protocols in the residential environment
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in child or youth work or equivalent
• Minimum two years’ experience in residential care
• Knowledge of adolescent developmental theory
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• First Aid and CPR certification
