We are seeking a student who is currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a post‑secondary program to join our Philanthropy team as a Co‑op. The role will support the Nicola Wealth Private Giving Foundation (PGF) by managing day‑to‑day operations such as updating account documents, facilitating donations, communicating with clients, charities and internal stakeholders, and supporting disbursements. It is an 8‑month co‑op term starting in September 2026 and ending in May 2027, with a hybrid location that includes both work‑from‑home and an in‑office environment in Vancouver.

Core Responsibilities

- Prepare and manage administrative documents for new accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and manage administrative documents for existing accounts, as updates or changes are required.
- Facilitate donations, including in‑kind gift transfers, database management, and issuing tax receipts.
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders as required.
- Communicate with charities and community partners.
- Support disbursements as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a post‑secondary degree or diploma program.
- Exceptional attention to detail and consistently accurate work.
- Strong client‑service / client‑relations skills and prior experience.




- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience within the charitable sector is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- A self‑starter able to take initiative and think critically to seek out information and solutions independently.
- Experience working independently, as well as in partnership with other team members.
- Ability to work in a energetic and fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment requiring strong organization, time management and prioritization skills, with the confidence to adapt to change as necessary.

Compensation & Benefits Package

The position offers a competitive base salary of $26 per hour, dependent on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
