As a Registered Practical Nurse, your role will focus on delivering person-centered care in our long-term facility. The position requires a valid RPN registration through the College of Nurses of Ontario and experience in long-term care. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to promote the best possible health outcomes for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct nursing care and develop care plans
• Administer treatments and monitor residents’ health
• Ensure accurate documentation of care provided
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal care
• Lead and support other caregiving staff
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in gerontology or long-term care settings
• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications
• Immunizations including TB and flu required
