This temporary full-time position involves working within multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams to assess and address the recreational and leisure needs of children and youth with disabilities. Your role includes designing tailored interventions and collaborating directly with families to enhance family-centered care. You will also play a part in community program support and developing resources that foster lifelong leisure skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess recreational needs and establish goals with families
• Design implement and evaluate individualized intervention plans




• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care

• Participate in team meetings and program development
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation required
• NCTRC certification necessary
• Two years' experience as a recreation therapist required
• Current BLS certification required
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills needed
