Schedule

Part‑time evening shifts and rotating one weekend out of seven

Salary

$30 to $42/hour, plus a $2/hour evening shift premium

Role

As a medical technologist, you will play a vital role in the processing and analysis of samples, while contributing to operational efficiency and the quality of results delivered to patients and healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities

- Receive samples at the laboratory
- Create computer queries
- Perform certain laboratory analyses (CFS, PT, PTT, PCR, SEDI, etc.)
- Inoculate microbiology samples
- Perform manual antibiograms
- Verify data entry in Unity Real Time
- Scan laboratory requisitions

Requirements

- Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Biomedical Analysis Technology from a school recognized by the Ministry of Education, Recreation and Sports.
- Membership in the Professional Order of Medical Technologists of Quebec is an asset.
- Experience in microbiology is an asset.

Working Conditions

Salary of $30 to $42/hour depending on experience, evening shift premium of $2/hour, part‑time; flexible evening and weekend hours based on operational needs; FTQ pension plan with employer contribution; accrued vacation time and two sick days; in‑house training provided; reserved space for employees.
