At LifeLabs, we seek a passionate Laboratory Assistant to handle specimen collection and preparation for testing. This role is part-time, requiring 20 to 37.5 variable hours weekly. You'll perform crucial tasks like phlebotomy while ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Your day-to-day duties will significantly contribute to our mission of delivering accurate and timely test results to Canadians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and inform patients about collection protocols
• Perform phlebotomies and connect holter monitors




• Carry out ECG readings and collect special tests
• Maintain relationships and respond to client inquiries
• Complete data entry of patient information
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program
• Phlebotomy experience or related healthcare background
• Solid data entry and communication skills
• Ability to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations
