You will work under the Director of Human Services and engage in crisis management, delivering group and individual counselling while promoting harm reduction strategies. This position requires collaboration with external agencies and community resources to create effective treatment plans and proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive counselling on addiction and mental health
• Prepare funding proposals for mental health initiatives
• Document client interactions using Electronic Management Record systems
• Liaise with community treatment programs and agencies
• Conduct outreach counselling services for vulnerable clients
Requirements:
• Registered with the counselling authority
• Certification in addiction counselling
• Knowledge of community resources and intervention methods
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with Indigenous communities preferred
