In the role of Senior Policy Manager, you will lead the charge in policy development, tackling critical issues through detailed analysis and extensive research. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders, including elected officials, to create feasible policy options. Additionally, you will oversee the management of policy databases while supporting public consultations and team development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Spearhead policy development and research initiatives
• Analyze and interpret diverse data sources for policy insights




• Ensure effective management of policy databases
• Facilitate public consultation processes on policies
• Supervise team members to streamline workflow
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary training or equivalent experience
• Experience collaborating with First Nations in governance
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with data management skills
• Knowledge of Haida culture and communities is a plus
Contribute significantly to policy formulation that nurtures the preservation of Haida heritage.
