Join MNP Community & Sport Centre as an Equipment & Maintenance Specialist, focusing on fitness equipment operational support. This part-time role emphasizes technical skill and fosters an environment of safety and excellence.
You will work 5-6 hours each week and have opportunities for call-ins during weekdays. As part of the Fitness and Training Team, collaborate closely with the Fitness Manager and Coordinator to ensure all fitness equipment is well-maintained. Prioritizing preventative care, you will also address minor repairs to uphold a legendary experience for all users.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist team in daily fitness center operations
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment




• Support vendor relationships for timely repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards
• Participate in monthly team meetings for updates
Requirements:
• Degree in Kinesiology, Physical Therapy or related field
• 2 years experience in leadership or personal training roles
• Solid communication abilities
• Capacity for independent work
• Certification in CPR Level C and First Aid needed
