Empower First Nations youth by providing essential mental health services. Focus on both virtual and physical delivery of care to enhance community health and wellbeing.
In this role as a Mental Health Clinician, you will facilitate access to necessary mental health services, emphasizing developmental trauma treatment and case management. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and community stakeholders will be key in supporting children and adolescents effectively. Your experience and skills will help bridge the gap in youth wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver in-person and virtual mental health interventions
• Coordinate assessments and manage case documents
• Foster relationships with First Nations communities
• Advocate for clients with healthcare professionals
• Provide educational outreach on mental health topics
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a relevant health discipline
• Current registration with a regulatory body
• 4-5 years’ experience working with youth
• Training in therapeutic models such as DBT or CBT
• Insight into Indigenous healing processes
