WestCana is looking for Casual Housekeeping Aide with a passion for the elderly to join one of our teams to support our residents in Vancouver .

- Wage: $25.82 per hour
- Location of Work: 2526 Waverley Ave, Vancouver BC V5S 4W1

Housekeeper Must Haves:

- Maintains WHMIS certification.
- Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent.
- Legally allowed to work in Canada.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints.
- Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Passes and complies with Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Check upon hire and every 5 years thereafter.

Housekeeper Nice to Haves:

- Building Service Worker Certificate, Institutional Aide Certificate and/or Basic Food Secure Certificate.




- Institutional cleaning experience.
- Provides personalhousekeeping & laundry services for care residents in accordance with established work routines.
- Adheres to Infection Control Practices.
- All safety rules and safe work procedures are adhered to at all times. Reporting all hazards, incidents, near misses and workplace injuries to the manager immediately and in writing.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Please note that Healthcare wages are beingadjusted and topped up by the governmentcurrently, February 2023.
