In this casual role, you will assist residents with daily living activities while documenting observations for nursing staff. Ideal candidates have a Grade 10 education and a Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate. You will work within a team to ensure the holistic needs of residents are met in a protected environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily living activities while preserving dignity
• Document care accurately for Registered Nurse input
• Maintain safety standards in care environments
• Engage in teamwork to enhance care strategies
• Participate in learning and development initiatives
Requirements:
• Grade 10 education and Health Care Aide certificate
• Registration with College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
• Prior experience preferred but not mandatory
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to handle demanding physical and mental workload
