Responsibilities:

- Ensure the safe delivery of goods to various locations, including customer warehouses, ports, and intermodal terminals.
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure its proper and safe condition.
- Keep logs of their activities as well as the vehicle statuses, including mileage, applications of brakes, and rest periods to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, other drivers, and customers to share information about routes, schedules, delays, and cargo.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, considering traffic and weather conditions.
- Provide regular updates to the dispatch team and maintain professional communication with customers.

Qualifications:

- Valid Class A DL with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a department of transport health check,



drug test, and criminal background check.
- Exceptional driving skills and knowledge of road safety.
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo safely, if required.
- Positive time management skills with the ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
- knowledge of truck maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
