Job Summary Reporting to Maintenance, the Licensed Millwright is responsible for performing reactive, assigned, and preventative maintenance on all production and supporting equipment within the facility, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and providing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, process, automation, and HMI system support on all equipment.

Compensation $40.00 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

- Assemble, disassemble, install, repair, and fabricate machinery, equipment, spare parts, tooling, and change‑parts as needed, following technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, SOPs, and OEM resources.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, process, automation, and HMI control problems, correcting as required.
- Contact manufacturers for technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
- Perform system support tasks such as temperature controller adjustments, calibrations, and preventive maintenance as trained.
- Comply with PM, SOP, GPP, and regulatory requirements.
- Document work orders, preventive maintenance logs, calibration forms,



and validation documents to GPP/SOP standards.
- Execute assigned preventive maintenance tasks and work orders on schedule.
- Support on‑site contractors for preventive maintenance or project activity as needed.
- Update the CMMS with required information.
- Train team members in processes and procedures.
- Maintain tools, toolboxes, and shop areas in compliance with GPP/SOP standards.
- Work shift or as required.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

- Ontario Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Licensed Millwright or Electrician with proof of completion of an Apprenticeship program and five years of industrial experience in manufacturing.
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Skilled in root cause analysis for equipment problems.
- Superior troubleshooting skills in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, HMIs, PLCs, and automation.
- Solid communication skills.
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet, including scissor lifts and ladders.
- Experience with shop tools, lathe, mills, grinders, drill presses, precision measurement instruments, power tools, technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, controllers, HMI, PLCs, calibration, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR (asset).
