WCL is seeking an Underground Labourer to enhance its water and sewer team. Although prior experience in underground or civil construction is beneficial, a robust willingness to learn and work hard is what matters most. You will assist in trenching, backfilling, and using various hand tools under the direction of skilled operators and foremen.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with trenching and pipe installation support
• Use hand tools effectively while on duty
• Maintain awareness of job site safety protocols
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Follow direction from foremen and crew leads
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Willingness to obtain WHMIS & CSTS 2020 tickets
• Strong dedication to punctuality and teamwork
• Physically able to endure long hours
• Eager to learn the underground construction trade
