In this role, you will report to the Manager of Facultative Reinsurance, managing property and casualty risks and ensuring proper adherence to underwriting guidelines. With an emphasis on analytical skills, you will provide thorough insights to both internal and external parties, playing a key part in underwriting decisions. Experience in agriculture or commercial underwriting is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate property and casualty reinsurance risks comprehensively
• Negotiate facultative placements while adhering to guidelines




• Advise on underwriting standards and technical concepts
• Conduct thorough documentation and risk analysis
• Foster collaboration alongside a degree of independence
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in relevant insurance field
• 5-7 years of experience in property and casualty underwriting
• Robust attention to detail and analytical capabilities
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
• CIP certification is preferred
