THE DETAILS
- Timeline: Early August through harvest wrap-up (mid‑September to mid‑October)
- Schedule: Seasonal or part time during the season flexible for the right fit
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Piloting large-scale farm equipment combine, or tractor and grain cart
- Doing pre-op checks and routine maintenance: greasing, cleaning, fueling, belts and chains
- Spotting and troubleshooting minor mechanical hiccups before they become big ones
- Operating safely, every time, no shortcuts
- Putting in extended hours evenings and weekends during peak harvest, weather permitting
- Moving equipment between fields
- Keeping your cab clean and your workspace organized
- Staying in close contact with the rest of the crew
WHAT YOU BRING
Equipment operating experience is a bonus, not a requirement
A valid Class 5 licence and your own way to and from work
Mechanical curiosity comfortable troubleshooting the basics
