Become a key part of the Nutrition Services team as a Dietary Aide. This role involves food preparation, portion control, and ensuring sanitary conditions in a supportive workplace.
Under supervision from the Manager and staff, you will assist with food service assembly, production, and distribution while emphasizing sanitation and safety. Candidates should possess a Food Handler Training Certificate or be willing to obtain one. Proficiency in Microsoft programs and excellent organizational skills are also necessary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with training Nutrition Services staff and students
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines
• Deliver food carts to designated areas and collect soiled dishes
• Maintain cleanliness in dining areas and equipment
• Perform cashier duties and manage inventory as needed
Requirements:
• Current Food Handler Training Certificate Level 1 preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with efficient methods
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures
