$85,000- $95,000 plus bonus and benefitsBrampton, ON (On-site)The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key individual contributor role within the Finance team, providing analytical and reporting support to the Controller and cross-functional departments. This position is responsible for compiling and analyzing financial data, supporting reporting requirements, and contributing to overall business performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret and apply accounting standards (e.G., ASPE, IFRS) to prepare financial schedules and journal entries.Conduct monthly financial and departmental cost analyses, including variance reporting.Perform month-end close activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, and system reporting (e.G., SAP, Tagetik).Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing variances and provide actionable insights.Present financial results and forecasts to the Controller, including recommendations for performance improvement.Support budgeting processes, including annual cost centre budgets and monthly forecasts.Prepare and reconcile assigned accounts,



ensuring accuracy and completeness.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to financial processes and costing methodologies.Collaborate with international teams to provide financial analysis and reporting support as needed.Assist with indirect cost analysis, accounts payable functions, and vendor-related reviews.Utilize tools such as Power BI, BW, and advanced Excel for ongoing financial analysis.Prepare and file sales tax reports with relevant federal and provincial authorities.Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data.Support compliance activities, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements.Provide guidance and support to team members, including limited involvement in accounts payable.Assist with year-end audits and other corporate reporting requirements.Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting roleBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CPA or ACCA designationrequiredStrong knowledge of ASPE and financial reporting standardsExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and consolidate complex data setsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHigh level of integrity and professionalism#J-18808-Ljbffr
