Empower vulnerable adults at Island Crisis Care Society as a Therapeutic Support Worker. This role focuses on life skills, emotional support, and community engagement to promote independence.
Take the chance to become a Support Worker within a team dedicated to restoring dignity and community connections. You will participate in assessments, develop personal service plans, and assist clients in life skills training. Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in client assessments and program evaluations
• Train clients in daily living skills, including organization and cooking
• Facilitate recreational and educational activities for clients
• Provide necessary emotional support to residents and families
• Maintain health and safety standards in residence
Requirements:
• Diploma in a relevant human/social service field
• Minimum one year related experience or equivalent
• Certification in Standard First Aid with CPR-C
• Naloxone Administration qualification
• Successful Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Review
