The Clinical Nurse Educator plays a vital role in the Northern Health mission by supporting staff through education and training. Candidates should have a solid background in mental health and substance use, along with at least three years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for program development, mentorship facilitation, and staff training coordination to meet competency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and deliver training sessions for nursing staff
• Develop and maintain preceptorship and mentorship programs
• Evaluate education programs for effectiveness and relevance
• Participate in reviewing patient care standards and policies
• Coordinate in-service programs for continuing education
Requirements:
• Up to date resume required for application
• 3 years recent experience in mental health and substance use
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30
