As COVE's Marine Education & Cultural Knowledge Lead, you will be instrumental in supporting initiatives tied to ocean literacy and the OffshoreWind4Kids program. Your capacity to connect with educators and Indigenous communities is crucial, allowing for culturally relevant curriculum development. This remote role demands a creative and self-driven individual ready to foster partnerships and enhance educational resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scale and deliver local and national education initiatives
• Collaborate with Indigenous communities for curriculum materials




• Develop educational programs that integrate ocean literacy
• Organize tours for students and educational stakeholders
• Assess educational program effectiveness and communicate results
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• 3-5 years of program development experience
• Indigenous self-identification required
• Valid driver’s license for travel
• Robust planning and problem-solving skills
Guide youth towards meaningful careers in marine technology while creating lasting community impact at COVE.
