Support the well-being of Day Program clients as a Recreational Activities Program Worker Driver at Priory Hospital in Victoria, BC. Your role will involve personal care and client transportation.
In this position at Priory Hospital, you will report to the Manager and will be responsible for organizing various recreational activities. In addition to supporting clients' emotional and physical needs, you will ensure their safety while transporting them between multiple facilities. Strong communication skills are essential as you create a fulfilling setting for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize engaging recreational activities for clients
• Provide personal care to fulfill client needs
• Safely transport clients to and from the facility




• Comply with Island Health policies and procedures
• Ensure effective communication with clients and team members
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and an activity aide course
• Two years of relevant experience preferred
• Hold a valid Class 4 unrestricted motor vehicle license
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to perform the required duties
