Reporting to the Manager of Speech, Language, and Hearing Services, you will work directly under Speech-Language Pathologists. Your responsibilities will include supporting students' communication needs, implementing augmentative and alternative communication solutions, and developing AAC resources. The role emphasizes collaboration and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying communication needs for students
• Coordinate AAC technology trials and troubleshooting
• Develop low-tech AAC materials and resources




• Provide individualized support to enhance communication skills
• Maintain and organize AAC devices and technology
Requirements:
• Postgraduate diploma in Communication Disorders Assistant
• Minimum 2 years of CDA experience
• Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication preferred
• Proficiency working with technology
• Robust organizational and communication skills
