Take charge of facility operations with the Hamiota & District Sports Complex as a Facility Foreman. Manage a bustling community hub including sports arenas and parks in Hamiota, Manitoba.
This full-time role reports to the Chief Administrative Officer of the Hamiota Municipality. You'll oversee the Hamiota and District Sports Complex, managing day-to-day operations of the ice arena, curling rink, and outdoor facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate self-motivation, effective staff management, and the ability to work evenings and weekends throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage operations of sports complex and community facilities
• Supervise and allocate staff effectively
• Ensure maintenance of ice and grounds
• Coordinate special events and daily activities
• Collaborate with Recreation Director for Aquatic Centre staffing
Requirements:
• Prior management experience in facility operations
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Ice making and grounds maintenance knowledge preferred
• Solid self-motivation and leadership skills
• Willingness to learn and adopt necessary skills
